Noraneko Prints is composed of independent artist, Noraneko, and Pilaf, her cat and shop's Chief Feline Officer.
Noraneko's hand-painted and digital pieces feature washes of delicate watercolor, flashes of vivid hues, and airy scenes that carry the same wistful tones of her illusive daydreams.
Our shop/pen name, "Noraneko" Prints, comes from part of the artist's name (Nora) and the Japanese word neko, which means "cat." In Japanese, noraneko means "stray cat" - which is fitting, considering our shop's muse, Pilaf!
As a stray cat leaves pawprints behind, we wish to leave our own mark with our art prints.
